Overdose 3.0

Within the series OVERDOSE 3.0, Daniel Voelker refers to the flood of images in which we swim each day. He coquets with the dominance of the visual by “delivering” the viewer an overdose of colors, shapes and impressions.

Erotic photographs serve as a basis for OVERDOSE 3.0. Daniel Voelker optimises their colors and superimposes up to 20 shots in a certain arrangement. Through the layering of the individual motifs, various image levels and views, the image details set up. Thus an impression of three-dimensionality is evoked.

OVERDOSE 3.0 is the final stage of the evolution of OVERDOSE & OVERDOSE 2.0 which are the predecessors of this body of work.
